The last leg - Kirkcudbright to Dumfries

This was a fairly straight run, in glorious weather, with some inclines and good views. Cycled through Castle Douglas which seemed a pleasant town and on into Dumfires where I picked up a puncture going through some road works less than 500 metres from my original start point where I had left my car. Then it was a case of loading my bike and driving 350 miles home. Reasonable run with a couple of coffee breaks and the usual stop start traffic for 10 miles on the M6 down to the M5 junction.
